I thought I'd give it a try. This product was described accurately enough to give me the information I needed to make the leap. I'm glad I did. The waist fits just below the normal waist line, the front is made durable, the waistband is wide, flexible and soft. The only thing that kept me from giving it a perfect score was the fact that the back side material was a little thin and may not hold up in the long run.
