These are a great buy and are very true to size and I'm glad to have them delivered washed and ready for him to wear. cheaper than I have found in the stores...

My husband is particular about underwear (who isn't?), loves these so far. He had noted the past several white Hanes packs he tried (fav brand his whole life) were poorer and poorer quality, problems with the elastic weakening prematurely or very thin fabric. I decided to order the colored Hanes instead and he couldn't be happier, no problems at all and after a few washes the bands are fine. The fabric is thicker than his white ones and clearly more durable overall.
Edit: There is a tag glued to the inside of the band (why!?), after aprox 10 washes or so my husband could feel it scratching his back, unfortunately when he rips the tags off it warps the band pretty bad. They are still functional but I'm guessing not for long.

I never envisioned myself as an underwear reviewer, but after a lot of frustrated shopping, myself, I wish I had seen a review that could have saved me a lot of expense and trouble.
For many (many) years I was a loyal J.C. Penny customer. But after they went to a one size fits all philosophy, I had to look elsewhere. I used Penny's size 32 cotton/poly briefs and after they changed their sizing I was forced to try their all cotton product in a 32. That worked for the first two washings, before they stretched well beyond my fit. I have purchased Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, and Jockey, none of which had either the fit or the quality of the Dockers. They either had the same one size fits most or the cloth was thin.
Nevertheless, I delayed my review until I could report on the durability, as well as the fit. And after more than 10 washings I can report that the Dockers brief has held up exceptionally well.

These briefs seem to be made well and they do fit well providing good support. They have a thicker waistband than a lot of briefs. I prefer a fuller cut brief but these are just fine.
