The only down side is that they shrunk in the wash. This is my first pair of 'fashion briefs' and now all i ware is this style and thongs... I normally would wear an XL or sometimes L in briefs. I've bought both XL and L and the Large fits perfectly. The XL is a little bit looser but still fine. If you like a snug (but not tight) fit, buy one size down. I really love the colors the offer this brief in as well. My one worry is the rubbery material used for the product name on the waist band. Not sure if that will hold up to a lot of dryer time. Overall I highly recommend this line of briefs from 2-xist.
